East Greenwich, Rhode Island Harbor Master

Spent a moment searching out references to “James Cullin” on Microsoft Bing and discovered that the Harbor Master for East Greenwich, Rhode Island is a James Cullin (as opposed to “en”). So naturally I had to look up East Greenwich on Google Maps. Looks like a nice place to stop for lunch next time I find myself in Rhode Island:

Santiago Calatrava – the Zurich-based architect and structural engineer – turns 59 today. He was born in Valencia, Spain in 1951. Mr Calatrava’s designs include the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències in his home town of Valencia:

Hugh Hendry

Just read a short New York Times profile of Hugh Hendry – who is a partner, and CIO & CEO of Eclectica Asset Management in London.

Turns out he is something of a cult figure on YouTube – most notably for a verbal assault on Columbia University’s Jeffery Sachs during an appearance on the BBC’s Newsnight back on May 26th.

His most popular video on YouTube is one he and his partner shot themselves in China during 2009:
